Living in harmony with the universe keeps us on our spiritual path and strengthens our desire to live with compassion and kindness toward others.

Experiencing a spiritual life in today’s world can be challenging. There are so many distractions that draw us away from our true spiritual selves. Distractions which challenge our emotions and create hurt, anger and despair repeatedly within.

Our true spiritual selves are sensitive to the world around us. We want to do something, but often find ourselves not knowing what to do or where to start.

There are many paths to take that can guide us in this challenging world.

Imagine your love and compassion radiating out to more and more people. As more individuals are touched, the waves of love continue to expand.

This phenomenon is called the ripple effect – like a pebble thrown into a pond that creates circles of waves that radiate out in all directions.

Although they may not appear to make much of a difference (at least not at first), small acts of kindness can have a huge and lasting impact on humanity and the world.

To honor our true spiritual selves, here are 12 daily mindful practices to help each of us on our earth-walk journey:

  • Love unconditionally
  • Be compassionate
  • Love our neighbors
  • Forgive one another
  • Help others in need
  • Live in the present moment
  • Be grateful
  • Recognize opportunities the universe is giving us
  • Let go and surrender to God
  • Feel the love and peace of God’s presence in every moment
  • Pray and talk to God
  • Meditate and listen to God
